Religious Education

Lees-241

At Lees Primary, our RE curriculum helps children explore big questions about life, beliefs, and values in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. With limited cultural exposure, our pupils benefit from rich discussions that promote understanding, tolerance, and resilience.

Children learn about a wide range of religions and worldviews—locally, nationally, and globally—encouraging respectful dialogue and critical thinking.

We work closely with local faith leaders and the Interfaith Centre to provide real-world experiences, helping our pupils grow into open-minded, thoughtful members of society.

Parents have the legal right to withdraw their child from Religious Education (RE) lessons, in whole or in part, in accordance with national guidance. If you wish to exercise this right, please contact the school office or headteacher to discuss arrangements and ensure appropriate supervision is provided.
